What is the opportunity?
RBC Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones. The country employs a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability.
You will be responsible to ensure treatment of cash and security instructions received from RBC Investor & Treasury Services’ clients in line with prescribed market, NAV and Treasury deadlines The role is to deliver specific services to external and internal clients with high level of quality, efficiency and fostering a client first mindset.
You will be supporting UK region, working hours would be between 3pm-12am or 4pm – 1am. However, flexibility is required to support business needs.
What will you do?
Monitor system feeds from various sources and ensuring no delays to the reconciliation process.Respond quickly and efficiently to and problems reported by the Global Reconciliation teams and also respective.Ensure all Service Now tickets are resolved on a timely manner and all exceptions raised to the Manager.Ensure the maintenance queue is monitored and all rejected feeds are investigated / resolved on a daily basis.Point of escalation for the team.To cover manager during their absences.Contribute to successful project completion by identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies.Monitors TLM access for appropriateness and consistency between users.Recommends business solutions that satisfy stakeholder needs whilst exploring and assessing options for value add-onResponsible for updates and review of all key risk related documents.Ensure the effective management of appropriate controls for effective management of processes, policies & procedure.Ensure regular communication with key stakeholders & oversight team.Produce and maintain statistical information, preparation of reports and analysis for decision making.What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
3-5 Years of financial services industry experience in an operations environmentBanking experience in operations within Funds Management/custodian environment.Extensive TLM knowledge.Basic reconciliation knowledgeEnsuring that all key client services Level Agreements are metAbility to work under pressure and to prioritize actions.Demonstrate coaching and leadership ability.PC literate in MS Office applicationsCompetent in MS Excel, PowerPoint and VisioNice-to-have
