What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for the supervision of drivers, transportation, and motor pool, in compliance with government and management directives. 

 Essential duties:

Act as liaison with federal agencies (GSA and DOL) to requisition vehicles for center use and ensure drivers are properly licensed.  Plan and coordinate with center staff pertaining to transportation needs and activities. Develop and implement orientation and in-service training programs for staff to ensure safe driving practices.  Develop and monitor schedules for drivers to ensure students' transportation needs are being met, and ensure drivers are properly licensed. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

Associate's degree preferred and two (2) years related experience. Must obtain your FMCSA trainer credentials. Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.    Must obtain permit within 90 days and CDL within 150 days of employment. Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.  Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
