Job Title Supervisor, Warehouse (MSC Loading Dock) Agency Texas A&M University Department University Center Complex Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Location College Station, Texas Job Type Staff Job Description What we want The Supervisor, Warehouse oversees the overall administration of the University Center shipping and receiving operations including the MSC, Rudder Tower and Koldus loading docks and supervises warehouse and shipping personnel. Required Education and Experience: + High School diploma or any equivalent combination of education and experience. + Four years related experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control including some supervisory experience. Preferred Education: + Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree. Required Licenses and Certifications: + Must have or be able to obtain a Class C driver's license within 30 days of employment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: + Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others. Job Responsibilities: + Inventory: Makes estimates of inventory needs, consults with supervisors on changes in inventory levels, requisitions materials and supplies, inspects goods received and checks invoices for materials received and condition of materials on arrival. + Materials and Supplies: Engages in receiving, acquiring, recording, storing, maintaining, preparing, issuing and accounting for materials, supplies and equipment. Plans and executes the efficient utilization of available storage space and maintenance of adequate and complete records of inventory on hand and issued. Performs annual department asset inventory verification. + Management and Supervision: Manages the University Center loading dock areas including, but not limited to cleanliness, upkeep and preventative maintenance of storage area(s), garbage compactor, coordination of deliveries with building occupants and delivery companies, and dock equipment. Supervises assigned personnel. + Repairs and Deliveries: Maintains and repairs some equipment and machinery. Picks up order from off-campus and makes deliveries of supplies and inventory for tenants of the University Center; this will require operation of a University or other motor vehicle on and off campus. Manages department recycling efforts including the bundling of recyclable cardboard. Why Texas A&M University?
