We are currently seeking an Underground Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team at our Sunrise Dam Gold Mine.  Reporting into the Electrical Maintenance Superintendent.

This role is based at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine on an 8 days on/6 days off FIFO roster, where we operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie.
 

Accountabilities:
 

Assisting the Electrical Maintenance Superintendent, in supervising an underground electrical maintenance team and ensuring that they are trained and developed to their full potential Working with the maintenance team in a ‘hands on' capacity and carrying out electrical maintenance work when required Work closely with the mechanical department personnel Liaising with maintenance personnel on safety, performance and technical issues Assisting in the management and execution of daily, weekly and monthly work plans and schedules Work closely with mining departments and engineers, for the development of future power requirement plans, to ensure mining activities are not disrupted Allen Bradley PLC and Citect programming Developing detailed maintenance plans for the delivery of work including assessing labour requirements Assisting in the development of electrical engineering standards and work practices; Ensuring team compliance with all company, legislative and statutory regulations in regards to safety and the environment; and Liaising with stores personnel to ensure timely arrival of parts and equipment.

About You

Hold a WA "A" Grade Electrical Workers License (Cert IV in Instrumentation is desirable but not essential) Be eligible to be an In-House Electrical License nominee Be responsible for all duties required as an In-House Electrical License nominee Have extensive mining industry experience in maintenance and installations preferably in underground hard rock mining Past experience in a supervisory role Previous experience with maintenance planning/scheduling within CMMS systems, preferably SAP Hold excellent communication and leadership skills with superior analytical, planning and prioritising skills Be proficient with Microsoft computer software, including Outlook, Office and Project Ability to work with engineers for project design and planning of underground high voltage reticulations High Voltage switching certificate A strong commitment to safety, with the ability to forge strong working relationships and motivate high performance Hold a current WA C Class Drivers License Existing and ongoing Permanent working rights in Australia (Mandatory)
