Position Description

Responsible for supervising individual shift staff to ensure proper departmental flow in the decontamination, preparation, sterilization and distribution of instrumentation and equipment to multiple serviced departments.

Position Requirements

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Certified Central Service Technician with (2) years surgical processing experience or surgical Technologist with (5) years operating room experience. Demonstrated knowledge of instrument sterilization techniques and standards. Basic computer skills. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED (2) years or more sterile processing or related field supervisory experience. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY THE STATE OF GEORGIA
