Summary
The Operations Supervisor position will be responsible for the overall safe and efficient operation of all pipeline systems supporting the Midland and Field Operations. This position will adhere to all Partnership policies and procedures and operate within the budget set forth annually by the Partnership. This position is based in Midland, Texas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise daily facility operations to meet required production rates and monitor operating data to minimize problems and downtime. Monitor administration of company policy and standard operating procedures. Evaluate employee performance and goal achievement. Responsible for reviewing and implementing the expense and capital budgets. Provides guidance to resolve operational problems as required. Works unified with shared service departments to maintain consistency with all business areas and maximize all departments' benefits. Supports capital projects through project commissioning activities. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations, and company policySpecial Considerations:
This position will be responsible for supporting the hiring and staffing process Position subject to being on call 24 hours, 7 days per week. Ability to respond to emergencies as required. The position is subject to travel throughout Texas.Working Conditions:

Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
Broad and varied experience in the maintenance and operations of pipelines. Must be able to perform in a fast-paced ever-changing environment, and simultaneously manage numerous activities at once. Sound technical, operational, administrative, and maintenance judgment and decision-making skills are required. Proven ability to manage large numbers of employees. HS Diploma or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 8+ years of crude terminal operations experience. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.Preferred Experience:
Familiar with regulatory guidelines of government agencies and with the Incident Command System concerning emergency response. Previous experience as Incident Commander. Relative pipeline and tank terminal experience. Experience staffing and hiring field teams.
