**Kadiak, LLC,** a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Supervisor to support **Kadiak** and our government customer in the Metro DC area. **This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.** _This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity._

Kadiak LLC, a subsidiary of Koniag Government Services, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Supervisor to lead and oversee information and records management operations. This role requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of four years of progressively responsible managerial experience in an information and records management environment. The ideal candidate should possess a strong command of project management tools, effective management principles, and a comprehensive understanding of life-cycle records management processes.
**Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:**
**The Supervisor will be responsible for:**
+ Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for document room activities, including scanning, document processing, data entry, and paper and electronic file management.
+ Plan and schedule production and resource allocation to ensure turnaround requirements are met across various document room operations.
+ Manage and supervise a team of employees responsible for document room activities, ensuring efficient workload distribution, performance monitoring, and adherence to established processes and procedures.
+ Possess a general knowledge of life-cycle records management, including the use of file plans, records inventories, and records retention schedules, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
+ Collaborate with FDA user organizations and technical staff, providing guidance and support, and serving as an alternate to the Project Manager when required.
+ Utilize contemporary project management tools and apply core principles of effective management, such as delegation, ownership, responsibility development, and tracking.
+ Identify and implement process improvements, optimizing document room operations and enhancing efficiency and productivity.
+ Participate in project meetings, discussions, and decision-making processes, contributing insights and recommendations based on operational expertise.
+ Provide training and mentorship to document room personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
+ Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to document room operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
**Requirements:**
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Information Management, or a related discipline.
+ Ability to obtain a Public Trust
**Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**
+ Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible managerial experience in an information and records management environment.
+ Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide personnel towards achieving operational goals.
+ In-depth knowledge of document management processes, including scanning, data entry, document processing, and file management.
+ Strong understanding of records management principles, file plans, records inventories, and retention schedules.
+ Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with the ability to plan, schedule, and allocate resources effectively.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including FDA user organizations and technical staff.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Familiarity with quality assurance and quality control processes related to document management and data integrity.
**Desired Skills and Competencies:**
+ Experience in a government or regulated environment, with knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to records management.
+ Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
+ Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and tools.
+ Understanding of data privacy and security protocols in the information management domain.
+ Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools for monitoring operational performance and generating insightful reports.
+ Experience in developing and delivering training programs related to document management and records management processes.

**Working Environment & Conditions**
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
