Summary You will serve as a DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER in the Logistics IT Services (PMW 200) of PEO MLB SOLUTIONS. Responsibilities You will provide the leadership, management, and execution of Logistics IT (LOG IT) Transformation by modernizing more than 200 legacy LOG IT Services Program systems across multiple Systems Commands (SYSCOMS). You will work as a supervisor with subordinate personnel in developing performance goals which both enhance/challenge individual professional standing and which support program and higher-level objectives. You will lead cost, schedule, and performance plans and strategies to enable Information Technology (IT) products that include stakeholder engagement and leading and/or supporting change initiatives. You will oversee the management all acquisition life cycle phases of assigned programs/projects to include definition, development, design, integration, test and evaluation, production, installation, training, and deployment. You will lead the program through oversight and management of business operations including management of major program event scheduling, conflict management and resolution. You will lead total force management, communications (internal and external) and organizational change management activities, analysis of program operational metrics, and management of Continuous Process Improvement. initiatives. You will work closely with subordinate personnel towards meeting individual performance thresholds, and seeks to challenge employees through assignments that require independent initiative and long-term planning. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting priorities, and preparing schedules for completion. You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration for the difficulty and requirements of the assignments and the capabilities of the employees. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading the development and execution of acquisition strategies to establish goals and objectives for developing, acquiring, fielding, and supporting MyNavy Human Relations systems and associated Enterprise Services and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and statutory policies (e.g., Department of Defense regulation and policies). Education Additional Information This position is in the Personnel Demonstration Project under authority of Title VII of the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978. The pay schedule and pay band for all Demonstration Project Professional Positions will be DP-1/2/3/4. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the pay band, including higher responsibility positions. Based on the responsibilities of this position (Tier 1), the total adjusted salary may be capped at GS-15 adjusted pay of $195,200 for the duty station listed above. This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may or may not be authorized to eligible selectees. Relocation expenses (i.e. PCS) may be authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
