Position Summary:
The Cardiac Pulmonary Rehab Supervisor is responsible for assisting with planning, directing, organizing, monitoring and staffing departmental services subject to policies, budgets, objectives and directives mandated by regulatory agencies, DNV and the hospital administrative team. Responsible for the day to day implementation and communication of organizational strategic and operating imperatives for the department. Assists the manager to ensure delivery of high quality, cost-effective healthcare and efficient supervision of staff in accordance with goals, objectives, and organizational policies. Leads the staff in performance of exceptional patient care in compliance with national standards and guidelines. Implements a culture of clinical and service excellence, continuous improvement, and compassionate care.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related fieldAmerican Heart Association BLSAmerican Heart Association ACLSANCC program nurse or an ACSM Clinical Exercise PhysiologistTwo (2) years of relevant work experience including but not limited to exercise program planning, supervision and counseling with cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation patients, or case management and working with a multidisciplinary team.Member of MACVPR and AACVPRPreferred
Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related fieldPrior work experience in a leadership / supervisory roleEssential Job Functions:

This role requires regular and sustained attendance.The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.Physical Requirements
