Supervisor Care Management RN

Supervisor Care  Management for Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.

 Full-Time/Day Shift

The Supervisor position reports to the Manager, Case Management and is responsible for the direct supervision of the assigned Case Managers, Coordinators, and Case Management Associates.  Supervision includes the daily coordination and management of all assigned Case Management staff to ensure excellence in customer service.  The Supervisor develops and implements an operational plan that includes staffing resources, policy and procedures, orientation and education, and quality improvement activities under the direction of the Manager and Director of Care Management.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Or Master's Degree in Social Services Or equivalent educ/experience Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License  3 years of Discharge planning and case management in an acute care setting.   Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, and Excel 

Preferred qualifications:

Master's Degree in Nursing or Community Health Supervisor or lead experience Crucial Accountability Training  Emotional Intelligence Training
