To fuel our growth, we are looking to supplement our team with a new opportunity for a Supervisor on its Carrier Credentialing Team who strives to deliver strong customer service (to both internal and external clients) while maximizing efficiencies to meet the company’s goals and objectives. The Carrier Credentialing Supervisor will oversee the team providing insurance appointment services and book of business transfers of varying complexity and origin in accordance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. This position requires the use of good judgment and sound leadership, project management, analytical reasoning, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:

Provide high-level advice, support and guidance as a subject matter expert to inform and influence leadership’s decision-making impacting business initiativesLead a regional team to deliver effective agent and agency carrier appointment-related results timely and in conformity with the company’s standards, vision, and goals in support of enterprise-wide initiativesAssist in the developing and implementation of team best practices and procedures for consistent and accurate processing;Lead a regional team to ensure compliance with the company’s business transfer policies and procedures while cultivate professional relationships with insurance carriers and agency partners by utilizing verbal and written communication;Provide oversight, training, coaching, mentoring and feedback to regional team (i) to help ensure regional team members are implementing team strategies effectively and (ii) to motivate regional team to optimize work product in alignment with strategic objectives;Promote a culture of accountability and strong ethical standards with a high degree of client satisfaction;Maintain confidences and protect operations by preserving the highest degree of confidentiality with all sensitive information and assigned tasks;Demonstrate excellent time management skills as well as prioritization skills; andAssist leadership with tasks that may arise from time to time.Requirements:
Must possess strong computing skills, including Microsoft Office and, specifically, ExcelMust be able to work independently after given instructions and guidance and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team membersMust have a high level of problem-solving capacityMust be self-motivated and driven and possess a strong ability to lead and motivate othersMust communicate effectively – both in writing and orally – and confidentially; andMust demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within an organization.Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred, but equitable work experience will be consideredProject management experience is preferredMinimum of three years prior supervisory experience is requiredAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment that encourages an entrepreneurial spirit and outside-the-box thinking is required; andMinimum of four years in insurance/financial/health care industries or in a law firm/in-house legal department with comparable exposure is required.Benefits & Perks:
