**Responsibilities**
**Job Summary / Purpose**
_The Supervisor – Clinic Nursing assists the Clinic Administrator/Practice Manager with general supervision, direction, and support of the daily operations of the clinic in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards. In the absence of the manager, the supervisor has oversight of clinic operations._
**Essential Key Job Responsibilities**
1. Has the authority to interview, hire, orient, terminate, promote, train and conduct performance evaluations.
2. Assigns day-to –day work activities; directs the functional and technical job performance of team members.
3. Allocate and direct staffing needs to meet patient, unit, and department needs, and collaborate with others to ensure overall staffing needs are met.
4. Manage performance including: setting goals, clarifying job expectations, monitoring performance progress, providing feedback, recognize developing skills and addressing performance issues related to work and our commitments using corrective action.
5. Works with individual clinic management and medical staff, to evaluate, monitor and enforce clinic specific protocols, procedures and objectives; maintains compliance with federal/state regulations and standards.
6. Ensures charging/reimbursement changes are integrated into every level of clinic operations by coordinating with the clinic team.
7. Serves as the point of contact for patient and external customer complaints. Investigates and reconciles complaints relating to practice operations.
8. Monitors the payroll system to help control employee time management.
9. Monitors utilization of staff and supplies in assigned areas, and recommends appropriate adjustments to stay within budget guidelines while constantly improving the quality of health care.
10. Monitors compliance with policies, implements plans and recommends revisions as needed.
11. Monitors and maintains licensure certification requirements for assigned staff.
12. Supervises the day to day operations in the absence of the manager.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**
**Required Education and Experience**
Sys/Div/Mkt/Local Supervisor – Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 1 year experience in the discipline OR 3 years’ experience in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experience. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
**Required Licensure and Certifications**
Must have a current/valid RN license from the state licensing board. Basic Life Support (BLS)
**Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training**
3 years related experience in a clinic/physician office is required.
**Pay Range**
$30.47 - $44.19 /hour
