Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Specialty Director of Gastroenterology (GI) and the Facey Endoscopy Center (FEC) supervises and coordinates the patient support staff in the FEC and GI Departments. Provides professional patient care for all patients following established standards and practices. Directs and facilitates the flow of patient care activities in the GI and the FEC departments. Serves as a role model for Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants and LVNs by providing leadership which fosters positive attitudes and change, as well as supports management policies and procedures. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.

Required Qualifications:
Graduate of a recognized Registered Nursing program. Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License 2 years RN experience. 1 year Experience in a gastroenterology lab.Preferred Qualifications:
