Position Summary
Oversees daily operations and coordinates work activities and schedules. Supervises and evaluates staff and oversees compliance with all HHS and department policies and procedures as well as the Patient Satisfaction survey process.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1.Provides technical and non-technical leadership to CT staff.
2.Sets forth rules and regulations governing departmental operations and work performance including staff scheduling.
3.Assures that all National Patient Safety Goals are strictly followed.
4.Assures high-quality CT scans are performed by all technologists on all shift.
5.Assures that high levels of Patient Satisfaction are maintained and continuous quality improvement achieved.
6.Sets goals for department and maintains current and keen awareness of innovations pertaining to computed tomography.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Required:
Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences
Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Required:
3 years as registered CT Technologist
Preferred:
2 years of CT Supervisory experience
License, Registry or Certification:
Required:
ARRT Registry in Radiography and CT Scan and NJDEP License in Xray, BLS
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Required:
Must have CT scan/X-ray skills and experience. Supervisory/leadership skills.
