The Internal Audit (IA) Supervisor is responsible for leading audit engagements (financial, operational, compliance, and SOX audits), including procedures over planning, risk assessment, test work, workpapers, audit conclusions, and reporting. More specifically, the IA Supervisor is responsible to perform the following tasks:

Review workpapers and provide comments to staff and senior auditorsSummarize findings and develop audit commentsIdentify areas for improvementEvaluate systems of internal controlsMaintain effective communications with client managementExhibit proper time management and planning skills for self and staff auditorsEffectively handle special assignments on diverse audit projectsMaintain positive attitude and energy level for self and influence team membersExhibit teamwork skills and abilities and promote qualityExhibit characteristics of professional excellence through continuing professional education

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of accounting, financial, and audit experienceAt least 2 years with public accounting firmRemainder in internal audit for large multi-national companyBachelor’s degree required in Accounting/Business/Economics or other relevant subjectMaster’s degree preferredCertifications preferred: CPA or CIALanguage Competency: English required, fluent verbally and writtenAbility to travel regionally and internationally up to 25%
