Every role at Corteva Agriscience includes an opportunity to grow what matters._ We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated **_Machinery Maintenance Supervisor_** to join our Research and Development facility at **Arica, Chile.** This position will lead the field machinery maintenance activities, among the field group in Arica Research Center. Planning, managing and leading maintenance best practices across the assigned areas of responsibility are expected, with a focus on the effective use of resources and excellence in execution, while providing leadership to the crew. In addition, the position will work closely with the program supervisor to achieve the planned outcome of assigned tasks while promoting a safe workplace and teamwork. **Responsibilities** + Implement the Preventive Maintenance Plan for all the field machinery and equipment of the Site. + Lead, coordinate and monitor maintenance activities, ensuring: these activities are executed according to the Preventive Maintenance Plan, every machine and piece of equipment are available for timely use, and best maintenance practices are implemented. + Ensure support for the implementation of new infrastructure-machinery/assets, through the availability of resources and coordination of activities needed for the mechanicals requirements of the Project. + Plan and track critical spare parts inventory and availability; ensuring the operation without lack of parts or stops due delay on parts accessibility. + Help with budget preparation and tracking of resources for areas under own responsibility. + Responsible for fleet and lease equipment, for maintenance and administrative coordination. + Supervise contractors to perform specific task and process, and support machinery selection (leasing or owned) for production. + Responsible for the staff daily operations (Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines, electronic panels, and equipment) + Lead the standards implementation related to the field machinery, and the following execution of the site. + Keep safety politics aligned with their team. + Lead and supervise the team in charge, establishing goals and objectives aligned with the site's strategy. + Monitor and evaluate the individual and collective performance of the team, providing constructive feedback. + Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork. + Identify the training and development needs of the team. . **_Corteva Agriscience™ is an equal opportunity employer.
