Is responsible for radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment. Provides direct patient care to patients of all ages. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Performs one additional modality in Imaging. Competency skills will be evaluated on an annual basis in order to hold this position. Oversees the operation of the Imaging unit with accountability for leadership, budget preparation, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling. Role models proactive, collaborative working relationships across the hospital. Maintains all TJC and state requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Upon hire: California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification Or Upon hire: California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit Or Upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification Or Upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification Or Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Or Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists Or Upon hire: National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Experience in other additional modalities.

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year Experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital environment.
