Essential Job Functions Assist with administrative duties associated with pre and post promotions. Coordinate all aspects of promotional or related events. File event paperwork into the proper binders as needed. Proofreading promotional information on direct mail pieces. Creation of monthly promotional outlines, rules & regulations to the Lottery. Perform monthly gift giveaway analyses for reimbursement. Create event deliveries for gift giveaway redemptions. Ensuring all promotional outlines, rules & regulations and affidavits are distributed to all applicable parties prior to any promotions. Prep areas for promotions and gift giveaways. Emcee for certain promotions and special events. Ensure proper signage are ordered for promotions from the Advertising Manager. Delegating tasks to corresponding staff associated with promotions. Requesting stock request and returns of gifts from inventory (Red Rock) before and after gift giveaways. Handling damaged gift items returned by guests and working with vendors to obtain credit for damaged merchandise. Present creative input to the Promotions Manager and department. Sending out weekly Marketing Alerts to the property of upcoming promotions for the week. Create monthly BEOs and floor plans to the sales team. Ensure promotions are being executed properly; as dictated by the Promotions Management Team. Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of all in-house signage for the property. May meet with vendors, or their designees, to formulate promotions and present concepts to the Promotions Manager. Assist, as directed, in all promotions and customer service including guest complaints and guest recovery. Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Promotions Manager. Physical/Mental Requirements Must be able to lift minimum of 25lbs. Ability to work more than 8 hours on feet if needed. Ability to make logical, split-second decisions. Must be comfortable with public speaking. Must be able to work a minimum of 45 hours per week & any additional hours if needed. Ability to work in a smoking environment if needed. Working Conditions Mostly indoors and generally climate-controlled environment. Will be exposed to noise, smoke, and odors.
