Supervisor Facility Procurement

Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **About the Role** Leads supply related activities for the facility to deliver excellence and integration between procurement, all functional areas and site purchasing / logistics planning teams supporting facility. **What You Will Do:** + Leading the execution of delivering a lean, responsive, and resilient material and services flow for the facility from source to dock and additional required points. + Managing team that is responsible for operating and monitoring the supply network procurement functions to meet the defined response time, cost, quality, and lean targets enabling optimal and efficient facility operations. + Ensuring the supplier network is capable of meeting the specific facilities’ Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, Management (QCLDM) requirements. + Collaborating with business partners and suppliers/customers and resolving facility specific supplier issues. + Develop and execute a robust inventory strategy for direct and indirect materials. **Degree Requirement:** + Bachelor’s Degree in in Administration/ Engineering or related field. **Required skills and experiences:** **Operational Functions:** + Strong leadership skills + Change agent, capable to adapt, understand and cascade in an efficient manner all the organizational and department changes. + Creates and develop robust synergy within own team, support partners and vertical/horizontal leaders. + Enables and develops own team skills through the continuous development and improvement. + Creates and maintain a safe/confident work environment for own team and support partners. + Emotional intelligence high level, capable to maintain serenity and take decisions in critical situations. + Provides transparency and understanding of the organizational strategy and expectations + Self-motivated and self-directed. + Effective communication required. + Creates and develop high performance teams. + Continuous improvement, on going efforts to identify and improve organizational/departmental opportunities. + Conversational English required + Practices the escalation process as a repetitive process. + Time availability **Initiative:** + Identifies and exploits own strengths and team strengths; minimizes limitations, search for tools and trainings to enhance and increase skills & motivation levels own and team. + Provides appropriate degrees of attention to both personal and professional own and team priorities. **Relationship Management:** + Provides prompt and effective responses to client/supplier’s requests and interactions. + Monitors client/supplier satisfaction levels on a regular basis and creates a robust synergy between own team and customer/suppliers. + Works with clients/suppliers to address critical issues and resolve major problems in a timely manner. **Problem Management Process - MFG** : + Utilizes RCCA techniques, such as Flowchart, Fish-bone Diagram, 1Pagers, A3, etc., as repetitive processes, to investigate basic problems, determine the causes, creates action plans to provide visibility of when the issue will be fixed (find resolutions) and identify the factors that could resulted in harmful outcomes. + Provides constant feedback to upper management and the team, and establish procedures for problem solving. **Supplier Management - MFG:** + Follows procedures and replicate best practices. + Ensure all purchasing processes are healthy and in compliance. + Resolves routine supplier issues; escalates issues up chain of command, as repetitive processes. + Evaluates from facility standpoint and purchasing strategy the alternative vendors or suppliers + Works with suppliers and with the support teams to ensure that purchases meet delivery date and quality specifications. **Purchasing Tasks and Activities:** + Records documents of purchasing tasks and activities, such as orders, bidding, self-audit evidence, trainings, expedite processes, etc. + Ensures compliance with procurement/purchasing & logistics regulations, procedures, practices and contract specifications. + Works with purchasing, procurement & logistics related tasks and activities. + Adheres to various requirements and steps of the procurement/purchasing process. + Know, document and understand demand signal, variation and the potential affectation to the supply network to address in an appropriate and timely manner to suppliers, customers and business unit. + Creates process flow diagrams. **Top Candidate Will Also Have:** + Business conversational English (Advanced) + Experience in Leadership and Personnel Management + Advanced SAP (+ Purchasing Module) **Additional Details:** + The primary location for this position is Cd.
