Position Summary Management of the day to day operations of the flower work shop, to ensure consistency and quality is received from all vendors and that all floral arrangements are checked to ensure they comply to the correct standard. Daily inspections to ensure all arrangements look healthy and fresh and are placed in the correct locationPrimary Responsibility • Directly manage the operating units/ contractor under his/her scope. • Ensure all team members report to work punctually and adhere to the correct grooming standards • Ensure all floral team members provide a courteous and professional service at all times • To have a good knowledge of seasonal flowers and quality available in Macau • Work closely with the floral designers to ensure arrangements are produced to their standard • To assist in the training of Florists to ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with maximum efficiency • To supervise the Floral Team Members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with maximum efficiency • Coordinate closely with all departments to ensure the delivery of fresh floral per defined standards. • Coordinate and conduct regular inspection of floral to ensure compliance to standards • Ensure daily orders of fresh flowers are placed accurately and promptly • To keep sufficient stock of flowers to properly supply the operation’s needs and implement good control practices to maximize turnover and minimize wastage • Ensure adequate supplies of operating equipment is maintained • Ensure correct cross charges to relevant stakeholders • Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication and organizational skills with the ability to work with internal departments of a diverse culture • Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assignedRequirements • Formal floristry training • At least 3 years of work experience as Florist • Strong written and oral communication skills; • Computer skills • Solid working knowledge in hotel operation, preferred
