GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for the supervision of assigned Henry Ford at Home programs and staff. Coordinates services for clients receiving health care products and services at home. Responsible for the formulation and recommendation of policies and procedures related to assigned programs. Evaluates, assesses, and recommends improvements in programs and services. May supervise the activity of the department in the manager's absence.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Associate degree in a healthcare-related field required. Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible healthcare experience, one (1) year of which is in a home care-based operation. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Analytical ability required to evaluate the effectiveness of at home services policies and procedures and to make recommendations for improvement. Verbal/written skills required to effectively present issues, communicate with others and clearly summarize corrective actions required. Interpersonal skills required to provide guidance and supervision and act as resource person to staff.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED
Requires licensure, certification or registration as an RN, PT, OT, Dietitian, Respiratory Therapist, MSW, SLP or other health care related field.
