With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system. *_Position Summary:_* The Data Integrity Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and quality of an organization’s data by implementing and enforcing data governance policies, conducting regular data audits, identifying and resolving data discrepancies, and ensuring proper data collection and storage practices to protect against data corruption and breaches, ultimately guaranteeing the reliability of information used for decision-making in the company. *_Position Responsibilities:_* *Key Areas of Responsibility* *Data Quality Audits:* Regularly performing data audits to identify errors, inconsistencies, and abnormalities across various data sources, including manual data entry, system integrations, and data imports. *Data Governance Framework:* Developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures to define standards for data collection, storage, access, and quality control across the organization. *Data Validation Processes:* Establishing data validation rules and procedures to ensure data accuracy before it is used for analysis and reporting. *Data Cleaning and Remediation:* Identifying and correcting data quality issues, including duplicate records, missing data, and invalid entries. *Data Documentation:* Maintaining comprehensive documentation regarding data sources, data definitions, data lineage, and data quality metrics. *Data Monitoring and Alerting:* Setting up systems to monitor data quality and generate alerts for potential issues, such as unusual data patterns and data integrity violations. *Stakeholder Communication:* Collaborating with different departments and stakeholders to educate them on data quality standards and best practices. *Technology Evaluation and Implementation:* Evaluating and recommending data quality tools and technologies to improve data integrity processes. *Compliance Oversight:* Ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy regulations and industry standards regarding data handling and integrity Perform other related duties as required *_Working Relationships:_* *This Job Reports To (Job Title):*HIM Data Quality Manager *Job Title(s) of HHC positions reporting to this Job:*Data Integrity Specialists** *Education* · Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management (HIM). ** *Experience* · Minimum: Two (2) years’ supervisory and management experience. · Preferred:Four (4) years’ supervisory and management experience. *Licensure, Certification, Registration* · Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) · eligibility should be obtained within one year of hire *Language Skills* · Strong written and verbal communication skills in English language *Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements * · Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data discrepancies and root causes of data quality issues.** · Expertise in data management practices, including data cleansing, validation, and transformation techniques.** · Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.** · Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (i.e. SQL).** · Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.** · Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements related to data integrity.** · Must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and be able to display excellent customer service skills.** · Must be able to accomplish assignments/tasks with little or no supervision. *_We take great care of careers._**__* With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
