Your role at Baxter

The Production Engineer must be a very multifaceted person, with an extraordinary desire to improve, initiative and proactivity passionate about achieving achievements through teamwork. He must have the ability to make timely and accurate decisions with excellent time management and personal organization under a high level of leadership. As a Production Supervisor, you are a leader who is willing to listen and encourage others by your actions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

We ensure high standards of process control (good process indicators, adequate management of inventories of materials used in the production process, orientation to accident prevention, DPM's, complaints and others). We promote a safe work environment, always ensuring compliance with the company's values while leading the staff under our charge. We support and compliance in the application of the guidelines related to good manufacturing practices "GMP'S", regulations by FDA / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 and other regulations and company policies (SOX, 6'S etc.). We promote continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating the appropriate application of modern engineering tools and concepts (Lean six sigma, DMAIC methodology, Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, Poke Yoke, Kanban, JIT, Ishikawas, FMEA, and others) to reduce waste. We ensure adequate compliance with production plans in terms of the mix and volume established by the planning area, ensuring continuity in the flow of the finished product, seeking to resolve situations that interrupt it in time. We are able to analyze and present information through the preparation of reports on different topics about the activities carried out in their areas.

What You’ll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Engineering related to the manufacturing area (Industrial, Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical).4 years of proven experience in similar positions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to read, write and speak English proficiently. (B2+)Experience in medical industries is preferred.
