This position will lead a Facilities team, while maintaining the physical workspace, by ensuring that all building systems and office spaces are functional, clean, and ready to support associates. **Key Responsibilities:** + Supervising and working alongside team members to complete projects and tasks. + Managing the day-to-day operations and overall maintenance of the facilities. + Respond to associate, vendors, or visitor inquiries in person, via email, and/or the internal ticketing program. + Collaborate with other departments to identify and address facility needs. + Communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization, industry, and community. + Interact with building vendors and teams to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the facility. + Coordinate move requests and space planning. + Ensure the office workspace remains clean, organized, professional, and safe for all. + Order and maintain products or services. Both consumable and non-consumable. + Assist in ensuring breakrooms and office spaces are stocked and clean. + Assist with the preparation for company functions and social events. + Complete miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned to support Nelnet. **Pay Range for this position is - $60,000 - $65,000, depending on experience **COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:** + Service Excellence + Oral communications + Written communications + Working with MS Office + Problem Solving + Managing Multiple Priorities + Decision Making and Critical Thinking + Leadership + Team Management and Team Building + Planning: Tactical and Strategic + Managing Workforce + Diversity Project Management **Qualifications:** + 4 year college degree preferred + 2+ years supervisory or leadership experience + 1+ years of experience in facilities or maintenance + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. + Exceptional customer service and communication skills. + Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). **Physical Requirements:** + Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and maintain reliable transportation. + Traveling to Nelnet properties within and outside of Lincoln will be required + Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. + May be required to work overtime based on business needs.
