POSITION OVERVIEW

The EHS responsible-Waste Water Unit operator-Technical Manager reports to directly to the Plant manager and has primary responsibility to ensure compliance with EHS and HB Fuller standards and follow the equipment maintenance.

The individual needs to have a strong safety and EHS and technical background and high experience in industrial environmental issues. Experience in using a ERP system will be considered a significant advantage.

PRIMARY DUTIES

ENSURE THAT ALL EMPLOYEES ARE WORKING TO COMPLY WITH ALL H.B.FULLER POLICIES ENSURING COMPLIANCES WITH APPROPRIATE LAWS AND REGULATIONS 

DUTIES AS EHS RESPONSIBLE

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

Physical skills and technical background are demanded in order to fix and repair damages that happens to the WB/HM lines and during the continuous Waste Water Unit operation. Physical skills in order to operate in the Waste Water Unit.

Sign as a safety engineer to the Ministry of Industry as demanded by the Greek lawGather all information and update the various EHS and Operations reports (Monthly safety report, Sustainability report, Compliance Calendar report, Non-financial Metrics report etc.).Be informed and apply the training for Global incidents and injuries as reported in the HB Fuller proceduresApply the safety auditsApply the environmental auditsEnsure the PPE implementation and renewFollow all procedures for the accurate license updatesResponsible for the solid waste material legal manageCommunication with local authorities for guidance and information of the law demandsReporting to the local authorities annually as demanded by the Greek law (annual disposal report, and ELSTAT surveys)Coordinate closely with environmental contractor (GEON) and ensure legislation comply with the Greek law.Participate in continuing education and training to develop expertise required to perform EHS coordinator function.Coordinate and/or conduct required EHS training as delegated by facility managementSet a good example to others by observing all safety rules and supporting EHS programs

DUTIES AS WASTE WATER UNIT OPERATOR/ENGINEER

Sign as a waste water unit operator to the Ministry of Industry as required by the Environmental license and by the Greek Law.Apply the operation of the Waste Water Unit and aiming at the activity increase (daily treatment water disposal output increase and improve the quality characteristics of disposal water)Ensure the effective and continuous operation of the Waste Water Unit (Repair/Maintenance)Take samples and implement measurements of the quality characteristics of the water be driven to the drainage.Ensure the availability of the raw materials and consumables demanded for the waste water unit operation.

DUIES AS R/M Supervisor/Engineer

This individual as R/M Supervisor/Engineer will be involved in a variety of technical tasks, supporting also plant’s functions including:

Be the responsible of the factory’s equipment well-working as demanded by the Greek LawDeveloping a root-cause analysis of the technical issues, applying solutions and standards.Monitoring and applying the maintenance of the equipment in the plant by following a specific maintenance planOrganizing equipment’s spare parts management systemFulfilling responsibilities for the production of HM F/PFulfilling responsibilities as a Safety engineer of the plant as required by the law and H.B. Fuller’s standards.Working in a safe and efficient manner.

Minimum Requirements

To hold a University Master degree as an Electrical/Mechanical engineer.To have the right to sign as maintenance and safety responsible according to the Greek law specification.To have at least five years of experience as responsible engineer in the industrial environment.To have at least two years of experience as an EHS responsible.To have decision making skills.To have leadership skills.To have problem solving skills.To have communication and people mgmt skills.To speak and write English fluently.To have excellent computer skills.To work successful under pressure.
