General Summary
Directs and coordinates production activities in their different shifts, adjusting to the quality standards and operating costs.
Monitors and supervises the efficiency of the direct labor, provides support in the preparation of the manufacturing programs, coordinates the solution of problems in the productive processes involving the support areas of the plant and all those administrative activities that are required to develop the his position.
Duties & Responsibilities
Attend meetings with the staff.
Attend manufacturing meetings
Participates in the support for: Introduction of new products and / or Transfer of products.
Execute changes in manufacturing processes defined by engineering team.
Co-participates in changes in manufacturing processes
Prepares periodic reports on the status of the areas under his responsibility.
Assists in the analysis of production programs.
Participates in improvements to manufacturing flows.
Track shipments (priorities).
Co-participates with EHS and Human Resources in the safety general plans.
Supervises the activities and work routines of supervisors and the team that reports directly to him.
Participate in the organization of internal and external company events.
Focus on customer satisfaction (OTP, LTA, Ext.PPM, Client Complaints).
Participate in work meetings of:
Quality, Human Resources, Payroll, Engineering, NPI, maintenance and planning.
Develops training plans for the staff under their responsibility.
This position / function must be responsible for understanding and following the requirements of the Safety, Health and Environment administration system, its Policy, the applicable standards and procedures.
Meets and enforces the internal work regulations.
Related Education & Experience
Bachelor of Industrial Engineering (Preferably), Engineering related
Minimum 3 years in a similar position, manufacturing processes
SKILLS REQUIRED
