This is a hybrid leadership position will lead all activities in the investigational drug pharmacy while also serving in a direct staffing role as needed.
Supervises all activities for the Investigational Drug pharmacy:
Serve as the direct supervisor for investigational drug pharmacy staff
Participate as member of the Pharmacy Leadership team
Responsible for oversight of pharmacy research related matters
Responsible for the development of clinical procedures around medication utilization
Responsible for compliance with all research and pharmacy guidelines and other regulatory requirements
Responsible for coordinating education regarding research for pharmacists, pharmacy residents, pharmacy technicians and student pharmacists as needed
Represent investigational drug pharmacy services in all Research Department meetings
Ensure pharmacy presence at Institutional Review Board meetings
Function as a research pharmacist as needed
