For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM ABM 2025 Employee Benefits (Frontline) (https://www.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/ABM\_2025\_Employee\_Benefits\_Frontline\_v2\_English\_9.5.24.pdf) | Programa de Beneficios de ABM (2025) (https://www.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/ABM\_2025\_Employee\_Benefits\_Frontline\_Spanish\_v2\_9.5.24.pdf) **POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES** · Supervise and coordinate the work of janitorial staff to ensure that all areas are cleaned and maintained according to company standards. · Schedule and assign cleaning tasks, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources. · Train and onboard new janitorial staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance. · Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met. · Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to cleaning services. · Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. · Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. · Prepare and maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff schedules, and maintenance issues. · Communicate effectively with staff, management, and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services. · Assist with cleaning tasks as needed, especially in high-demand situations. · Develop and implement cleaning procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Performs other duties as assigned or requested. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES** · High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in janitorial services or facilities management is a plus. · Proven experience as a janitorial supervisor or in a similar role. · Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety practices. · Excellent leadership and team management skills. · Strong organizational and time management abilities. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. · Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods. · Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. **PREFERRED SKILLS** · Experience with scheduling software and inventory management systems. · Knowledge of green cleaning practices and sustainability initiatives. · Spanish speaking is a plus!
