Supervisor - Mail room
Position Summary Under the general direction of Mail Room Assistant Manager, and within the limited of established hotel policies and procedures, oversees all activities of the mailroom including receipt, sorting, and distribution of incoming mail and preparation of outgoing mail to all departments, include partner hotels and all property tenants.Primary Responsibility - supports assistant Manager with the daily operations of mail room - assists to support and measure the effectiveness of department goals, implement and monitor productivity measure - supervises the operation workflow of mailroom to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standard - Assigns duties and responsibilities to mail room Runners - ensures all mail service standards are maintained - handles all internal complaints in a courteous and efficient manner - Maintains daily logs - supports and assists departmental training - supports the skills and effectiveness to all Runners through the appropriate training and coaching - assists with the preventive maintenance of mailroom equipments - Maintains a professional working relationships with all team members - dealing with enquiries from the client - Performs other duties as required - works closely with all departmentsRequirements - High school, diploma or equivalent education required - Minimum 1 year relevant experience of customer services - Able to speak, read, write and understand English and Chinese Language - Initiative, organized and detail-oriented - Excellent communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills - Ability to work under pressure - Ability to work in a team environment - Basic computer skills – Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases and Email
