ABOUT THE ROLE 

 

This role is a Permanent position on a 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday roster, (with a requirement to perform 12 hourly Shift Coverage as required including nightshifts), based at our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities. 

 

Leading a maintenance team, ensuring safe execution of tasks, and driving operational efficiency in alignment with schedules, safety standards, and performance targets. 

 

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 

 

Leading the maintenance team to execute work plans effectively and safely.  Ensuring work orders are completed in compliance with safety and operational standards.  Managing resources, updating schedules, and ensuring timely execution of tasks.  Providing coaching and development to team members to drive performance and improvement. 

 

 

ABOUT YOU 

 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

 

Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a maintenance environment.  Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.  Experience in planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities.  A proactive approach to problem-solving and driving continuous improvement.  Being able to lead shutdown activities and outages including managing contractors during these activities.  Being flexible to assist as operationally required. 

 

 

Qualifications for this position are: 

 

Currently holds or can be appointed a Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor appointment.  Holds a recognised trade qualification or possess’ significant supervisory experience in a maintenance environment
