*Description*
Summary:
Supervise daily operations of Materials Distribution activities including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics and productivity. Responsible for insuring and tracking customersneeds through timely delivery of all supplies, equipment and services housed, inventoried, managed and distributed through Materials Distribution.
Responsibilities:
1. Schedule and oversees Materials Distribution team and manages the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize expense.
2. Ensures the team members are properly trained in all aspects of their job.
3. Inspect Code Carts regularly, oversees general maintenance when necessary.
4. Meets regularly with MD team to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans.
5. Oversee and manage logistics for transporting supplies to internal customers and other facilities.
6. Participates in various work-related committees to improve quality and enhance customer satisfaction.
7. Helps facilitate product conversions ensuring staff is trained and aware of all changes.
8. Responsible for insuring everything is stored correctly and safely.
9. Interacts with staff with a customer focused, patient care-oriented approach.
10. Creates an environment of empowered employees/team. Utilizes and develops cross functional team members.
11. Projects a positive image in support of Supply Chain senior leadership.
12. Train and manage the MD team to solve operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
13. Fulfills compliance responsibilities related to this position.
14. Maintain and Model Nuvance Health Values.
15. Support Putnam and Northern Dutchess Hospitals when coverage is needed.
16. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
17. Performs other duties as required.

Associate's Degree or higher is required for this role
