Job Overview:

The Patient Financial Services Supervisor will provide oversight and management of the Financial Counselor team and daily operations. This role is essential in guiding patients through financial challenges, thereby facilitating their access to necessary healthcare services.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor s degree in business administration or related concentration. High School diploma and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor s degreeMinimum 2-3 years experience in healthcare business office operationsPrior experience with Charity Care and MedicaidKnowledge of all Microsoft Office products

Preferred:

Prior Management or Supervisory experienceAmerican Association of Healthcare Administrative Management Certification (AAHAM)

Scheduling Requirements:

Full TimeMonday-Friday9:00am-5:00pm

Essential Functions:

Providing communication to patients regarding their financial responsibilitiesPresenting patients with all guidelines and requirements of Medicaid and Charity Care programsProviding guidance to staff on insurance company practices regarding reimbursementLeading teams to achieve desired goals and objectivesMentoring staff and providing consistent performance managementAbility to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output
