Job Overview:

The Clinical Support Supervisor will provide clinical support supervision to Recovery Specialists to enhance both their professional goals and services to the individuals of the Institute for Prevention and Recovery serves.

Qualifications:

Required:

At least one of the following is required: LCADC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, Advanced Practice NurseMinimum of 2 years of supervisory experienceApplicant will be required to complete the NJPN Peer Supervision Training within 6 months of hire dateDemonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development/training, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias

Certifications and Licenses Required:

At least one of the following is required: LCADC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, Advanced Practice Nurse

Scheduling Requirements:

Shift working, up to 16 hours a monthPer Diem

Essential Functions:

Offer both individual and group supervision as per guidelines set forth by NAADAC and state entities, which include but not limited to:The Code of Ethics NAADAC and Core Competencies SAMHSAProfessional goalsSelf-care practices/compassion fatigue awarenessEnhancing Peer Support work and strengthening skillsBoundariesIdentifying role difference, role drift and scope of peer workTeamwork skillsUnderstand and practice Peer Supervision Competencies related to:Recovery-Oriented PhilosophyProviding Education & TrainingFacilitating Quality SupervisionPerforming Administrative DutiesBe available or name an alternate Supervisor for supportComplete and maintain Supervision Agreement with Peer Support Specialist to be reviewed and revised annuallyCommunicate with operational leadership regarding performance and concernsMaintain and furnish up to date supervision files, including but not limited to documentation of both individual and group sessions, CSS surveys, and attendance reportingMaintain an active professional license and remain in good standing with the licensing boardPerform other duties as assigned
