Works with management to ensure accurate and timely collection of laboratory samples. Required Qualifications: + Associate degree in a biological science, Medical Laboratory Technician, or equivalent - Extensive, comparable, and proven experience in a similar environment may be considered in lieu of education. + 3 years of relevant experience in a large healthcare facility or laboratory setting. + Detail oriented, well organized, and able to work independently. + Ability to lead others. + Excellent listening, analytical, decision making and time management skills. + Excellent written and verbal skills Preferred Qualifications: + Medical Technologist + Previous lead or supervisory role. + Familiarity with Sunquest and/or Epic computer systems. + Experience in a direct patient care setting. + ASCP or equivalent.
