Aspirus Westhill Professional Building in Wausau, WI is seeking a SUPERVISOR- PROVIDER INSURANCE ENROLLMENT to join our team!
The Provider Insurance Enrollment Supervisor provides oversight of the day-to-day workflow processes, staff scheduling, productivity monitoring, staff coaching and training, exercising judgement in hiring and corrective/disciplinary action, and including supervisory of direct reports for the functional area within the coding department. This position serves as a collaborative resource to ensure timely and accurate Insurance Enrollment for our Facilities and Providers. This includes working with Providers, Provider Support Services, Centralized Verification Offices, Aspirus Network, System Leadership, and Revenue Cycle teams.
HOURS: Full time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours per two weeks pay period. 8-5 with flexibility.
Experience/Qualifications
· Knowledge of general health care business concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, other health related field or equivalent work experience.
· Three years’ experience in a healthcare revenue cycle or at least two years of related experience in a supervisory role required.
· Detailed knowledge of insurance enrollment process for contracted and governmental payors.
· Expertise with databases and Excel spreadsheets.
· Must be familiar with HIPPA guidelines when communicating with others, working in patients’ accounts or chart, and in holding the integrity of the patient data. All things viewed in a patients’ chart or accounts will remain confidential in accordance with Aspirus’ policies and governmental regulations.
· Ability to adapt and work with various insurance websites to find information as well as learn other systems used for this role, including but not limited to MD Staff, Cactus, and Epic.
· Detail orientation with a high degree of accuracy in all aspects of work.
· Ability to take large amounts of data and summarize for clear communication of information.
· Ability to use knowledge to investigate issues in order to determine root cause and steps to resolve.
