POSITION: Supervisor – Regional Special Education Summer School at Bay Shore UFSD ASSIGNMENT: Bay Shore UFSD SESSION DATES: Monday, July 7, 2025 – Friday, August 15, 2025 (Instructional hours for students will be 7:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) CONDITIONS: Beginning on or about March 3, 2025, in addition to Summer Session Dates, approximately sixty (60) hours between March and June are required plus an additional five (5) hours following the end of the Regional Summer School will be required at the assigned site. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Coordinate student class placement and related services recommendations + Determine staffing levels using a spreadsheet to track staffing needs + Hire staff and coordinate placement + Coordinate and order summer supplies and materials + Coordinate caseloads and schedules of related services + Assign related service and instructional staff based on spreadsheet recommendations + Review and coordinate student recommendations and approvals for summer services through IEP listings provided by districts + Coordinate Summer School activities, oversee instruction, assessment, and close out + Organize orientation program for parents and students + Other assignments as deemed appropriate by the Program Administrator for Special Education SALARY : $65.00/hour (Work hours are 7:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) Job Qualifications + SAS/SBL Certification required + Fingerprinting MUST be on file with NYS Application Deadline:02/07/2025
