The Supervisor Registered Dietitian is responsible for:
Clinical nutrition assessment and care of patients Acting as a liaison between the food and nutrition department, nursing services, the patient and physicianDeveloping and implementing policies and procedures that ensure quality carePerform Supervisor duties such as interviewing, selecting, hiring, scheduling, training and time keeping of team membersWorking in conjunction with the manager for disciplinary actions and terminations Other duties as assignedEffective January 1, 2024, a graduate degree is required for those not initially credentialed by 12/31/23. A graduate degree includes a master’s degree, practice doctorate, doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, EdD or, DSc).
