Supervisor Resource Planning

If you share our passion for creating an airline people love, we want to hear from you. **Role Summary** This Supervisor role oversees the execution of resource planning and timecard administration for not only the RPG team, but the entire M&E Division for employees in the following unions RSSA, COPS, AMFA. As a people leader, the Supervisor leads and establishes priorities for the RPG team, and works with local leadership, planning and Finance to develop plans and forecasts to support planned levels of efficient operations. This role ensures union contracts and division policies are followed consistently across the system. **Key Duties** + Continually evaluates business plans related to staffing, scheduling constraints, budgeting, productivity objectives, and work rules to identify areas of concern, then analyzes the areas of concern to develop innovative solutions to present to stakeholders (Ex. Line Maintenance, Stores, Base Maintenance Inspection). + Administers the M&E attendance reliability policy and coordinates with leadership, Human Resources, and Labor Relations to ensure the policy meets business goals, falls within regulatory guidelines, and complies with all applicable labor agreements. + Supports local leadership with pre- grievance, inquiries, and investigations by managing and resolving employee concerns before they escalate into formal grievances. + Works with Absence Management to accurately code, monitor, ensure Leaves of Absences are processed correctly to avoid pay interruptions for all unionized employees in M&E. + Managing Peoplesoft transactions for the unionized workforce in M&E. + Supervises time administration programs for the unionized workforce, ensuring timekeeping is completed by recurring weekly deadlines, reviewing employee concerns regarding accuracy of time and pay reports, and escalating issues to Payroll. + Administers the M&E Expired training program to ensure compliance for the Division. + Ensures consistency of application of policy and procedures including labor contracts (RSSA, COPS, AMFA) across unionized M&E departments. + Identifies needs and suggests recommendations to the Manager for the annual budget by forecasting staffing levels for the year on a system-wide basis, continually working to enhance staffing models, monitoring monthly budget results, and adjusting staffing models to improve performance and/or develop corrective action plans for stations to meet their goals. + Leads team and follows through on the established priorities of the resource planning and time administration teams and promotes a high-performance culture by cultivating and motivating direct/indirect reports through coaching, mentoring, and training by providing regular and meaningful feedback. + Demonstrate ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion while upholding a high standard of professionalism + Stays abreast of staff planning systems and trends and serves as a subject matter expert (SME). **Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills** **Required** + 3 years of experience in maintenance operations, or related area. + Bachelor’s degree or an additional two years of experience in lieu of this degree. + In-depth knowledge of relevant contractual provisions for scheduling and bidding. + Knowledge of state laws regarding protected leaves. + Knowledge of line maintenance policies and procedures. + Knowledge of line maintenance staffing plans and requirements. + Strong ability to rapidly understand and organize complexity and come up to speed quickly on the architecture and use of complex systems and processes. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and build a rapport with all levels of the organization. + Analytical and detail oriented, able to work well in both a team environment and independently. + High school diploma or equivalent. + Minimum age of 18. + Must be authorized to work in the U.S. **Preferred** + Leadership experience. **Job-Specific Leadership Expectations** Embody our values to own safety, do the right thing, be kind-hearted, deliver performance, and be remarkable. **Salary Range** $84,600 -- $126,800 / year **Salary Details** Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees.
