The Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Director/Manager in providing overall leadership and direction for the unit or areas of responsibility and for creating an environment that fosters a multidisciplinary team and collaborative approach to care that achieves operational and clinical "Best Practice".  Participates with the Director/Manager for overseeing all aspects of the care delivery system and works organizationally to improve service. Participates with the manager to create and implement an operational budget annually, monitoring performance monthly.  Responsible for leading, coaching, mentoring and modeling service excellence behaviors to charge nurses and staff.

Required qualifications:

Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State. upon hire: Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License. upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 5 years Recent experience in respiratory therapy with demonstrated clinical knowledge and leadership qualities. upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association. upon hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association  2 years Lead experience.
