Position Description

Directs and supervises Respiratory Care and/or Pulmonary Diagnostic lab activities on assigned shift. May perform the duties of a Respiratory Therapist and work with neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Position Requirements

REQUIRED

 

Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or other health related field with two (2) years’ of experience as Respiratory Therapist

OR

Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy with four (4) years’ experience as a Respiratory Therapist. Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from Georgia Composite State Board of Medical Examiners. Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Must hold BCLS,ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification through the American Heart Association.

 

PREFERRED

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
