Job Overview The F&B Supervisor is responsible for managing a team that delivers exceptional food and beverage service to guests, ensuring high service quality standards and guest satisfaction. This role includes overseeing the duties of F&B servers, supporting the smooth execution of team tasks, and continuously improving service quality. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Guest Greeting and Service • Supervise the team’s duties and ensure guests are greeted upon arrival and escorted to their tables. • Assist the team in presenting the menu and ensure they can explain daily specials and recommendations effectively. • Guide the team to take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly. Food and Beverage Service • Oversee the quality of food and beverage service provided by the team, addressing any issues that arise immediately. • Handle guest complaints during service and provide support to resolve any problems. Cleanliness and Hygiene • Manage the hygiene and safety regulations of the F&B team, taking necessary actions when needed. Teamwork and Collaboration • Lead and train the server team, ensuring smooth service operations by collaborating with team members. Guest Service Improvement • Collect guest feedback and develop plans to improve service quality. • Provide feedback to team members and support them in continuously enhancing service standards. ________________________________________ Work Environment • The role is typically based in a restaurant, café, bar, or other F&B service areas. • Interaction with guests is a key component of the role, requiring excellent communication and service skills. • The position may require multitasking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience: Previous experience in food and beverage service is required, along with leadership or team management experience. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a supervisor in an F&B service role is required. Core Competencies: • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. • Ability to multitask and make quick decisions. • Positive attitude and problem-solving abilities. • Basic English communication skills (required for interaction with international guests). Other Requirements: • In-depth knowledge of the menu and food and beverage offerings. • Thorough understanding of hygiene and safety regulations. • Relevant F&B certifications and licenses (e.g., hygiene management and alcohol service certification).
