At CommonSpirit Health, we take our sleep seriously! As Sleep Center Supervisor, you'll supervise hospital sleep labs in the Omaha area, managing the staff and workload to maximize efficiency. What you will do:
Regulates the workflow efficiency of the department through personnel assignments and staff scheduling giving consideration to the patient’s needs.Assists in developing departmental action plans and makes recommendations to the Director for training and staff development. Monitors productivity to assure maximum staff utilization at minimum costs.Provides technical and clinical expertise for staff. Ensures sleep software and documentation systems meet regulatory as well as CHI Health guidelines for all sleep labs and that they are backed up/maintained appropriately.Oversees and provides for the assessment and evaluation of the appropriateness and effectiveness of diagnostic testing based on patients’ age, cognitive and physical abilities, and/or developmental needs and all governing bodies’ regulations. Responsible for communication to the physician of pertinent patient data. Recommends appropriate actions to assure the provision of optimal patient care.Other duties as assignedQualifications
What you will need:
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 1 year experience.Graduate of an AMA approved 2-4 college for Respiratory Therapy, OR Registered Polysomnographic TechLicensed in the state as a Respiratory Therapist or Polysomnographic TechnologistRegistered with the NBRC.BLS certification with American Heart Association
