The Social Worker Supervisor assists Care Management Department leadership by providing oversight, guidance and leadership to Social Workers including assurance of staff performance and compliance with applicable laws and regulations and NASW code of ethics.  Assists to develop services, policies, procedures, resource plans and coordination of department activities related to and integrating social work activities within the department.  Provides direct social work services to specific patient populations providing interventions to patients/families of varying ages with age related needs.  Serves as a mentor to the  Social Worker staff offers and/or provides consultation as appropriate.  Provides continuing educational information to the staff focusing upon the discipline of Social Work.

Required qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work. California Clinical Social Worker License upon hire or California Psychologist Registered upon hire 3 years of experience as a social worker in a community-based setting, skilled nursing facility, or acute care facility.
