Team and Role Introduction:

Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily end to end operations of the First-mile, ensuring packages is dispatched in a timely manner.· Manage and lead a team of First-mile staff, including manpower planning, training, scheduling, counselling, disciplining and performance evaluation.· Monitor and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.· Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure operation compliance are met.· Provide guidance and support to team members, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.· Address any discrepancies or errors in the first-mile and implement corrective actions.· Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports on sortation center performance.· Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.· Report operational status and issues to upper management regularly.· Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.· Prepare technical reports e.g. EOD report by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
