Overview Are you looking for the next step in your healthcare leadership path? M Health Fairview has a Supervisor opportunity in the Staffing & Scheduling department! This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours every 2 weeks) salaried position, on the Day/Evening/Night shift, working weekends as needed. The location for this role is our Midway Corporate Campus, centrally located in Saint Paul. The Supervisor leads staffing advisors through all staffing functions, including, but not limited to; master schedule balance, schedule production, changes to posted schedules, trades, e-time and schedule edits, orientation schedules, near term recruitment, and daily staffing. Responsibilities Job Description Provide oversight of day to day operations including ensuring site/units are staffed to provide appropriate level of care. Maintains situational awareness of team needs and potential bottlenecks. Implements problem-solving mechanisms in both routine and emergency situations. Ensures communications are complete in a timely and accurate manner. Participates as delegated in the daily system huddles and other related meetings. Organization Expectations, as applicable: Provides service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served Communicates in a respective manner. Ensures a safe, secure environment. Fulfills all organizational requirements Completes all required learning relevant to the role Aligns with and maintains knowledge of all relevant laws, regulation, policies, procedures and standards. Champions improvement, efficiency and innovative thinking. Qualifications The qualified candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree and has 2-3 years' experience working in staffing, scheduling, or healthcare. Leadership experience of 1-2 years is also required. This experience can be formal or informal (mentor, trainer, lead). Preferred experience would be additional healthcare, staffing, or scheduling experience, familiarity with Excel and ANSOS, along with knowledge of Mitel contact center and Mitel Workforce Management programs.
