Responsible for all operational, technical, and personnel activities associated with assigned areas of an acute facility’s supply chain, receiving, and inventory management. Oversees $100M+ in supply and purchased services spend on an annual basis. Hires and trains departmental positions. Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department. Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain. Coordinates supply chain operational activities including inventory optimizations, savings initiatives, and team development. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience required Technical SkillS: Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office License/Certification: APICS Certification Preferred, Six Sigma Black Belt Preferred Other: Requires leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Projects a positive attitude, demonstrated collaborative competencies, and a strong work ethic. Ability to foster an environment of teamwork, build strong working relationships, and mentor direct reports. Effective written and verbal communication.
