Supervisory Business Analyst

Join our dynamic team dedicated to ensuring compliance and operational excellence in electronic communications. As an International Supervisory Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our global initiatives and projects.

As a Business Analyst within the Supervision Electronic Communication Program Team, you will be instrumental in helping the business manage regulatory obligations, operational risk, and supervisory requirements related to electronic communications. You will support the team in daily responsibilities and broader projects, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

Report on standing metrics, including population for US and International Private BankReview policies and/or lexiconsAnalyze volumes for potential refinementsConduct analysis of test policies/lexiconsSubmit and track tickets for updates/additions to the programProvide backup support to the E-Comm Team, as neededConduct reviews and provide feedbackHandle miscellaneous requests related to the process and assist the team with research and investigation, as required

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Team Player - capability to build good working relationships with cross functional/regions teamsInter and intrapersonal skill - ability to self-motivate, strong time management and organizational skills, as well as ability to work with various personalitiesCommunication - ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, and summarize feedbackControl-Oriented - ability to identify, understand and reduce operational risks, as well as document procedures and identify requirements for additional controls, as requiredCritical/Innovative thinking - ability to analyze data or process flows and ideate on improvementsAdaptability - ability to perform in a fast-paced environment,  handle multiple tasks through effective prioritization and consistently meet deadlinesMS Excel skills - including pivot tables, V-lookups, sorting and filtering dataProficiency in use of firm-approved Business Intelligence tools such as; Alteryx and TableauProficiency in database querying languages such as SQL and/or Python, or the desire to learn and become proficient shortly after employmentAlteryx Designer Core certification is required

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor’s Degree preferredAdvanced knowledge of securities industry rules, regulations and guidelines and significant and equivalent experience in a directly related securities industry position may substitute for bachelor’s degreeWritten and verbal fluency in English. Other languages are a bonus.Proven Experience as a Business Analyst or Data AnalystStakeholder management is preferredAlteryx Designer Advanced certification is a bonus
