SUPERVISORY INDUSTRIAL SECURITY SPECIALIST
Summary DCSA's Industrial Security Field Operations is looking for an Assistant Regional Mission Director focused on ensuring National Policy, operational issues, and DCSA initiatives are properly addressed to meet National, DoD, and/or Agency standards. Responsibilities As a SUPERVISORY INDUSTRIAL SECURITY SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties: - Act as the Deputy on behalf the Regional Mission Director and manage Industrial Security Field Operations as designated - Collaborate with Field Office Chiefs, Information Systems Security Team Leads, Counterintelligence, and other Supervisors to monitor and oversee field actions, ensuring adherence to National Security Policy, DoD Regulations/Manuals/Instructions, DCSA Regulations and Field Operations protocol - Manage quality assurance programs. Conduct, identify, and/or facilitate subsequent training efforts to deliver solutions and/or recommend changes - Conduct internal and external stakeholder liaison activity with high-ranking officials and members of the public, industry, military services, government agencies - Provide guidance and assistance to peers while mentoring subordinate personnel to ensure Field Operations goals are achieved - Develop written communication and deliver oral presentations to high-ranking officials and large audiences - Supervise and mentor a geographically dispersed workforce of Regional Mission Action Officers Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications The experience described in your resume will be evaluated and screened from the Office of Personnel Management's (OPMs) basic qualifications requirements. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-13 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Utilizing expert knowledge of all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and associated National Security Policies, Executive Orders, DoD Directives, Federal Laws, foreign affairs, and constitutional provisions; Leading, fostering commitment, influencing, motivating and challenging others; Projecting organizational requirements at all levels; Analysis methods, writing and presentation skills to complete comprehensive reports and be able to express ideas and concepts in oral and written format; Exercising resourcefulness and initiative in adapting practices, techniques or precedents to resolve problems and develop new courses of action or methods.
