Summary Seeking a qualified and experienced CI professional to serve as the Deputy CI Regional Mission Director for the region. You will serve as a SME responsible for directing and overseeing a CI workforce providing CI support to the cleared Defense Industrial Base and all DCSA mission areas. This is an excellent opportunity for those with extensive supervisory and CI experience in the identification and thwarting of foreign intelligence threats to the USG's trusted workforce and critical technologies Responsibilities As a Supervisory Intelligence Operations Specialist (hereafter referred to as Deputy CI Regional Mission Director) you will serve within the Mid-Atlantic Region, which is comprised of a geographically dispersed workforce. -Plans, directs, coordinates, implements, evaluates, and monitors operational activities, metrics, and assigned personnel in support of the CI Regional Mission Director. -Assists in the planning, developing, directing, and execution of seamless and impactful integration across all mission areas within the Mid-Atlantic Region. -In conjunction with the Regional Operations Officer and Regional Collection Manager, collaborates and coordinates CI support with other Deputy Regional Mission Directors, Field Office Chiefs, Supervisory Agents in Charge, and ISSP Team Leads with other mission areas such as Industrial Security, Cyber Security, and Background Investigations. -Supervises, develops, and mentors CI Special Agents and analysts within the Mid-Atlantic Region. -Represents CI Regional Mission Director in daily internal and external meetings, concerning operational discussions to identify and resolve threats to cleared industry. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-13 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience supervising and exercising all supervisory responsibilities for a team of CI Special Agents and CI analysts responsible for executing CIFS, investigations, operations, and/or collections. Experience assisting in the development, improvement, and refinement of CI support to mission areas. Advanced experience reviewing and editing operational documents, significant case summaries, and information briefings for senior intelligence officials and for use in the intelligence and law enforcement communities. Experience providing oversight, manages, and advises on performance metrics. Expert experience maintaining continuous liaison with federal law enforcement and the Intelligence community in support of Intelligence Community requirements. Experience consulting on CI operations to include techniques, procedures, and tradecraft, and counter-proliferation (CP) issues for an Agency involving CI integration at facilities. Technical Competence Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
