About the Position: Serves as Chief of Readiness Division (G-4) Logistics Directorate, U.S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC). Responsible for ASC property accountability, maintenance, and Financial Liability Investigation of Property loss programs and policy. Responsibilities Supervises property accountability and maintenance management to accomplish ASC missions. Leverage human resources by providing direct supervision to subordinate employees. Manage policy and/or procedures for property accountability and equipment management. Manage policy and/or procedure for maintenance management and readiness. Provides readiness briefings on ASC property and/or maintenance management programs. Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as: Providing oversight on Property Book and Maintenance Management policies; monitoring compliance inspections through Command Supply Discipline or Command Maintenance Discipline Program; improving existing processes to increase efficiency; briefing higher-level officials on logistics readiness; and managing financial investigation for property loss. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Decision Making Manages and Organizes Information Managing Human Resources Planning and Evaluating Supply Support Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
